What happens at a typical MAN party?
First you pay at the front door. Then put all your clothes in your
gym bag (or we give you a plastic bag) and check your bag. Then you go up
and talk to people just as if you were at any other party. At most indoor
parties, you get 2 drink tickets, and after an hour or two the buffet is
open. Many parties also include some entertainment.
How many guys go to MAN parties?
Most of our parties attract between 50 and 90 guys. We get our
biggest crowds when we throw a weekend party in Manhattan.
What if I get an erection?
Erections make great ice-breakers! So don't be embarrassed if it
happens, and don't hide in a corner. Just start a conversation with the
guy next to you, and you'll forget all about it.
Will there be guys my age?
Most of our members are between 30 and 70. Some are younger and
some are older.
Do I have to be gay?
No, however most of our members identify as gay or bisexual and you
should be comfortable around gay men in a social setting.
I know it's not a sex party, but what is
your definition of "sex?"
Sexual activity is understood as any action or behavior done for
one's own or the pleasure of another, that would result in an ejaculation
if it were continued. Every flyer contains the following instruction: "No
stroking, no sucking, no squirting. Please help to keep it social."
Is there an after-party where the rules are
relaxed?
Males au Naturel does not organize after-parties. Members are
welcome to organize their own after-parties at another location, inviting
either the whole group or just the guys you want. Then you are free to set
your own rules.
Can I try out a party before I join?
Non-members are welcome at almost all events. If a party is for
members only, it will say so on our Calendar page. Non-members usually pay
a higher entrance fee. See "Give Us a Try" for more information.
What if someone tries to take my picture?
Photographs may be taken only with your expressed permission.
Sometimes we will mark a certain area for picture-taking. If someone is
taking your picture without your permission, please let us know.
Can I help?
Thanks for asking! We are an all-volunteer club. Some members come
early to help set up. Others stay for the clean up. Finally, some very
special people work ahead of time to organize and publicize our parties.
When there are more of these special people, we can have more and better
events.
